It looke like our 'ol pal Dusty checks in on killing for sports as I refer to the March 11th post.
Bruce, Votto, and Bailey are now regulars on the Cincy team and doing very well.
Patterson is on the bench and should have been drop kicked out of that town.
He has also been limiting pitch counts for two other young pitchers: Volquez-who is an absolute phenom (he came over in the Hamilton trade) and Cueto (who has shown signs of great stuff)
Votto has been banged up lately and here is a quote from 'ol Dust:
"Dr." Baker prescribed a remedy for the rookie.
"He told me to hop in the ocean and get that saltwater in me," Votto said. "He said it heals everything. I'll do that tonight."
Does Baker realize that rivers tend to be freshwater?
