Not Over Grossman

Firts of all, Orton is doing a fine job. I like that he changes the play at the line on occasion, even if it gets him in trouble. I also like how he moves in the pocket when it does collapse. He is not stellar with passing, though. I've seen as many passes that required adjustment by the receiver than good passes. And there's no long ball threat yet.

I would argue, though, that with a line that offers some protection, and a quality running back, Grossman would be a more complete QB for us. He had some difficulties with protecting the ball, but that was when he got rushed every single down. I mean, Forte would be having an even better year once Grossman connected with Booker, Lloyd, or Hester down field. The last time Grossman had a running game and o-line protection, the Bears went to the Superbowl.

I'm not downplaying Orton, I'm just saying that I still believe that Grossman is the better QB. If it takes benching your better QB and revamping the entire scheme to win games, so be it.

Grossman compltetlt melts down in pressure...he can't rebound from a play gone wrong....he reminds of a little kid that gets excited and then pees himself

All right Chris I will be some what kind but… ARE YOU OUT OF YOUR FUCKING MIND!

The problem with Grossman is he is a one trick pony that only works in fucking college. You can get away with being dumb as a post, not studying play books and sling the ball to faster better athletes than are on defense. Grossman is soooooo fucking bad he will not get picked up as even a back up for another team. NOT EVEN A BACK UP FOR ANOTHER TEAM!

A good back up needs to be smart enough and knowledgably enough to imitate other offenses. That is how some of these old fucks keep there jobs when they can’t start any more. They can run a great practice squad for the starting D. Grossman can not do that… Plus he has small hands, he is short for a QB, he doesn’t know what play they are running and where the protection is, ooooo yea, and he is so afraid to get hit he makes weird faces and falls down when no one touches him.

Grossmans problem is he is either to arrogant to understand pro football is different then college or to stupid to understand it. You don’t only need to know what the receivers are doing you need to know what EVER ONE is doing. How is blocking, which way they are blocking, who to call for blitz’s, where your weak spots are… I could go on how much Grossman failed in all of these areas.

If you watch the to QBs here is the major difference and the reason Orton could go on to be a very good QB and Grossman never will, his career is over.

When Grossman makes a good play he jumps around like he has done something great and then high fives his receivers… When he makes a bad play he yells at his line men.

When Orton makes a good play he pats his linemen on the back… when he makes a bad play he walks over and talks to the people he thought should be open.

Orton sits with line men and goes over game pics between plays… Grossman sit with Wide Outs and gibber gabbers….

When Orton was a back up he had a head set on to hear what the coaches where say to get the flow of the game and play calling…

Grossman sit on the side lines and looks like a man child pouting…

I could go on and on and on…. But in on simple statement….

FUCK GROSSMAN AND THE STRONG ARM HE RODE IN ON!

I have been saying it since we drafted him in the fourth round, which was a FUCKING STEAL, he will be the QB of the future.

I have stood by this statement since he got us to the play offs as a rookie and got fucked by the coaches and still stand by it. If we are going to win the Super Bowl in the next 3 years it will be with Orton not Grossman!

All I'm saying is, when he had a running game and an O-line that worked, we got to the Super Bowl. Grossman had better numbers than Favre over his first couple years of full-time, starting work (before last year, at least).

He shit the bed like crazy last year because there was no running game and the o-line was nowhere to be found. This year, we have both a running game and an o-line again (although the same douchebag play caller) and I'd be curious to see what Grossman could do in this system.

Last thing - I noticed Orton going fucking berzerk congratulating himself and everyone on the sideline like he won the superbowl with 11 seconds still left in the game. It was a nice play, but he can get as emotional as anyone.

And yes, I am totally out of my mind. But that has nothing to do with it!

People who like Grossman seem to think he has gotten a bum rap. I think he is just a bum.

I could be wrong and he won't get another chance in Chicago. The real test will be if some one else picks him up. If not then you can feel ok knowing he was a lemon.

Then again who knows if Orton gets picked up by another team. No matter how good the players are we will not win with bone headed coaches.

All three loses where coaching mistakes. Boo
